About one third of all families in England are headed by a single parent. With London being an international hub, single parent families here are very diverse, having immigrated from nations across the world. In October 2019 Single Parent Missions sent a team to the U.K. and held our first International Single Parenting Summit. During our trip we connected with Caroline Chalkley, the only Single Parents Pastor in the country, and began teaming up toward our shared vision. Caroline founded and leads Fresh Start, a single parent ministry in Harrow, England that holds Bible studies, retreats and other gatherings.
